In this course you will learn how to model Audi E-Tron GT car in Autodesk Alias. The project will be done in NURBS and good details are covered.

The surprise story of this tutorial happened back in 2020. When we released the course, there were no chance to find a 3D model of it around the internet. So the course went popular because we created our own blueprints (which released officially by Audi a few months later).
You have to check official car photos for better understanding of surfaces, reflections and flows. Well don't worry! We have a reference curve file for all lessons so this can help your progress.
Attention: A basic knowledge of Autodesk Alias is required like working with interface and camera. We have already published a FREE Basic Alias Tutorial at MS3D Academy!
Reaching a quality close to a reference model is the main target of this course. We explain the A-Class quality standard and how to reach that. The final patch layout for each student will be different from others. We want to teach you how to do surfacing, not copy pasting! After some explanations about the wireframe, there are many parts that we work on the quality of surfaces and analyzing them.
The most important advantage of Autodesk Alias is having more effective tools to control the quality of any surface. We teach you how to play with curves and surfaces.
The main target of this course is to let you learn how to work with Autodesk Alias interface and how to play with curves and surfaces with respect to a class quality and shading analysis. Full English explanations are provided for lessons.
