What is Learning License?
Some people buy Official Edition from Autodesk, they don’t need to use Learning Edition and can buy or renew their license through Autodesk website. Alias surface official edition license costs around 1000$ annually or 1200$ monthly.
Some people are new users and want to learn Alias. We suggest a different version called Learning Edition to start. Alias Learning Edition includes all the functionality of the official version. The only limitation is on the file output formats. It can only export (.wire) files.
